Job Title: Service Desk Technician

Location: Vienna, Austria (onsite)

Position Type: Full-time

Visa requirement: Must be already resident in Austria. An existing work permit is required, no sponsorship (Austrian/EU Citizen or RWR+)


Job Description: Our client is a digital consulting company working internationally. For their end client, a well known international organization with HQ in Vienna, we are seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Technician to oversee, support, and complement the deliveries.


  • Respond and solve incidents/service requests including troubleshooting, installation, and removal of hardware/software using supplied installation instructions and tools, following agreed testing and implementation standards. Deploy new or upgraded desktops, laptops or core application images.
  • Develop and/or enhance installation and configuration procedures as well as documentation.
  • Maintain Active Directory users, groups and computer objects
  • Support external users accessing given resources
  • Coordinating with vendors for IT equipment repairs
  • Registering, issuing and supporting MFA soft and hard tokens
  • Registering, issuing and supporting email encryption tokens

Job requirements

  • IT Helpdesk / Service Desk / Technical Customer Service experience required
  • Knowledge of information security
  • Knowledge or Oracle ERP products
  • Knowledge of ITIL
  • Client-orientated, analytical thinking, resilient, and with an strives for client satisfaction
  • Fluency in English and German is a must
