Job Title: Software Developer
Location: Vienna, Austria (onsite)
Position Type: Full-time
Visa requirement: Must be already resident in Austria. An existing work permit is required, no sponsorship (Austrian/EU Citizen or RWR+)
Job Description: Our client is a digital consulting company working internationally. For their end client, a well known international organization with HQ in Vienna, we are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer with 3+ years of experience in Node.js, Vue.js, Python and basic knowledge in Elasticsearch and MongoDB. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions for open source data, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and using their expertise to solve complex technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and product managers, to deliver high-quality software products
Utilize expertise in Node.js, Vue.js, Python, Elasticsearch, MongoDB and unstructured data to design and implement software solutions
Participate in code reviews, bug tracking, and other quality assurance activities to ensure that software meets high standards of quality and reliability
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of software development, and share that knowledge with the team
Job requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
3+ years of experience in Node.js, Vue.js, Python
Basic Knowledge in Elasticsearch, MongoDB
Experience with software design patterns, algorithms, and data structures
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and solve complex technical problems
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
