Our client is a leading organization committed to excellence in data services. We are partnered with a prominent NGO and are seeking a highly motivated Data Solutions Developer to contribute to the analysis of maturity gaps within the Cash Data Services scope.

Working time zone: CET

Employment type: Contractor / Daily payment (minimum one-year project)

Role Overview: As a Data Solutions Developer, you will collaborate with central CBT teams and field stakeholders to analyze business requirements, leading the development and design of data transformation and reports. Your primary focus will be on assurance controls including identity management, transfer reconciliation, and anomaly detection, utilizing technologies such as PostgreSQL, AWS (S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch), Tableau, Lambda, DBT, Docker, Django, Python, Sentry, and Git.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze maturity gaps within Cash Data Services, identifying areas for enhancement.
  • Collaborate with central CBT teams and field stakeholders to analyze business requirements, leading the development and design of data transformation and reports, emphasizing assurance controls (identity management, transfer reconciliation, anomaly detection).
  • Design and develop data transformation and reports with a specific focus on assurance controls (IDM, reconciliation, anomaly detection), leveraging technologies like PostgreSQL, AWS (S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch), Tableau, Lambda, DBT, Docker, Django, Python, Sentry, and Git.
  • Develop data models and write data-transformation code to validate prototype automated controls.
  • Prepare technical specifications to transform data into pipelines, adhering to IT standards and employing data engineer best practices.
  • Develop automatic data pipelines, ensuring secure data acquisition and cleaning, in alignment with IT standards.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and infrastructure engineers, assess new technologies, and implement innovative approaches to data engineering.
  • Write reports, document business logic, and draft Service Agreements with COs.


Job requirements


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4 years of experience in data engineering, transformation, and assurance controls in a similar role, utilizing technologies like PostgreSQL, AWS (S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch), Tableau, Lambda, DBT, Docker, Django, Python, Sentry, and Git.
  • Proficiency in developing data models and writing transformation code.
  • Strong understanding of assurance controls (identity management, reconciliation, anomaly detection).
  • Experience in developing automated data pipelines, adhering to IT standards and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
